One main reason I wanted to revitalize my food blog (which languished non-updated for almost a year) is that in said year I’ve watched the *one* thing I’ve always wanted to take place in Boston finally happen…the food trucks started rolling in :) The revolution must be documented, even though I’m somewhat late…hahaha!

I had been going to Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese since their debut that coooooold night back in early March of last year. I stopped by again tonight for dinner, in their same debut location no less of Cleveland Circle in Brighton. Since then, I’ve eaten many a duck confit, many a mighty rib & many of their other specialty sandwiches, like tonight’s special…balsamic peaches, French brie & baby arugula, all washed down with their pleasantly balanced sour & sweet strawberry basil lemonade. Sitting outside on a park bench nomming all this while watching a girl’s softball team practice (minus trying not to get killed by errant speeding foul balls…grrrrrrr) was a fine way to spend an early summer night ^_^
