I had a meeting that was canceled. I had 2 hours of free time before I started with my afternoon clients. The rainy, dreary weather had suddenly brightened up & the warm sun made it tolerable to be outside. Hence, I headed on down to City Hall Plaza for Scooper Bowl! Woo hoo!!!

I won’t go into great detail about the ice cream that I ate. Let’s face it…I didn’t really take the time to make meticulous notes, writing down every flavor of every vendor that I sampled from. It was ice cream, dangit!!! I was running around just like the hundreds of kids already there trying to figure out what to eat next :)

I do recall however that even though I was anticipating trying the new Greek fro yo from Ben & Jerry’s, I had to admit that I wasn’t a fan. I was expecting more of that tart taste & there was none of that :( My ABSOLUTE favorite though was the blueberry sherbert & blueberry sorbet combo that was called Splish Splash from Baskin Robbins! It’s definitely a flavor that I’ll be looking for the rest of this summer ^_^

Even with my 2-hour break, by the time I drove down to City Hall Plaza, found parking & walked over to the event, I had only 50 minutes to devour as much of the frozen deliciousness that I could. Alas, that only amounted to 11 scoops of ice cream. Certainly, not an accomplishment by any means compared to this guy…hahaha :) Next year, I’ll make sure to free up more of my afternoon so I’ll have plenty of time to really indulge! See you at Scooper Bowl 2013!
